Privacy policy

This site is run by the authors of Engineering AI for Healthcare, Dr. Mondana Ebrahimi and Joy Ardanaz (“we”, “us”). We follow the fair information principles of PIPEDA. We collect as little personal information as we can, we say why we collect it, and we use it only for that purpose.
What we collect
Only what you type into our forms:

We also record the date of your submission and the version of the consent statement you agreed to. Please do not include patient information or any other health information in your message.
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics on this site.
Why we collect it
- To email you when enrolment for the course opens, and with occasional updates about the course.
- To respond to your organization's inquiry about group or institutional licensing.
We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not use it for any other purpose without asking you first.
Consent
You give consent by ticking the consent box when you submit a form. You can withdraw consent at any time by asking us to delete your details, and every email we send will tell you how to stop receiving them.
Where it is stored and who can see it
Submissions are stored with Cloudflare, Inc., the service that hosts this website, in its Workers KV data store. Cloudflare may process and store data in data centres outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of those countries. Only the authors can access the submissions.
Security and spam protection
The site is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS). To block automated spam, our server counts submissions per network address for ten minutes. It stores a one-way, salted fingerprint of the address rather than the address itself, and discards it automatically. Like any website host, Cloudflare processes network addresses to deliver and protect the site.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist and inquiry details until the course launches and for up to 24 months after your last submission, then delete them, unless you enrol or ask us to keep in touch. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you,
- correct it, or
- delete it and stop contacting you.
To make a request, email contact@healthtrustiq.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact theOffice of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Accountability
Dr. Mondana Ebrahimi is responsible for our compliance with this policy.
Children
This site and course are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change affects how we use information you already gave us, we will ask for your consent again.
